Overview

The Mitsubishi MDS-B-SVJ2-10 (MDSBSVJ210) is a MDS series servo drive with a power supply. The servo drive built-in power supply voltage is 200-230VAC with a frequency of 50/60Hz. The 3-phase voltage of the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive may operate at an increased rate of 170-253VAC. The frequency is also permitted to waver between +5% and -5% of the original 50/60Hz.

The MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive with a power supply may connect with other drives of the same series. These connections are accomplished by linking the CN1A port to the CN1B port and vice versa. The CN1B port may also battery or terminator connector. The CN1A may link with an NC (no connection. The cable that must be used to link the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 with other servo drives is the SH21 cable. No more than seven axes, that is, seven servo drives may be linked in a row.

There is a list of motors which may be deployed in connecting to the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive with power supply. They are the: HC102, HC152, HC202, HC103, HC103R, HC153R, HA80N, HA83N, HC-SF152, HCSF202, HC-SF153, HC-SF202, HC-SF203, HC-RF103, and HC-RF153. All connections between the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive and the applicable motors are the same, namely attaching the encoder to the CN2 port of the amplifier, and also linking the three screw terminals with the power supply cable and also grounding a wire. The encoder cables used to link the motor and the MDS-B-SVJ2-10 servo drive vary depending on the particular motor. They are the CNV2C and CNV12 encoder cables. One may check the manual in order to learn which encoder will apply to which motor.
