Mitsubishi Electric Servo Motors are made to high standards and offer a wide range of power, speed and inertia ratings providing a motor for all applications. Ranging from 50W through to 55kW and with specialist type motors available (flat "pancake"motors) the new Super Series Servo Motors complete the line-up of products offered by Mitsubishi Electric.
Also, all motors in the Mitsubishi Electric Super Series are fitted with absolute encoders as standard.Therefore, an absolute system can be created by simply providing power to Servo amplifier via a battery. Once this has been done the super capacitor inside the motor and back-up battery allow the Servo motor position to be constantly monitored, even when disconnected from the system.
The Mitsubishi HC-MFS73K (HCMFS73K) is a 7.5kW Melservo HC servo motor with a key. The servo motor has a torque of 2.4 (N x m) or 339.8 (oz x in). The torque can be augmented to 7.2 (N x m) or 1019.5 (oz x in). The current is routinely evaluated to be 5.1A, but it is permitted to perform at a higher current of 18.0A. The HC-MFS73K servo motor has a speed appraised to be on average, 3000rpm; but it may run at a greater speed of 4500rpm.The greatest authorized speed for the servo motor to function at is 5175rpm. Then the moment of inertia is generally, 0.6 J(x10^-4kg x m^2) or 3.28 J(oz x in^2).
The four amplifiers, the MR-J2S-70CL, MR-J2S-70CP, MR-J2S-70A, and MR-J2S-70B, are all capable of linking and functioning with the HC-MFS73K servo motor. This is the means in which the amplifiers can attach; primarily, one may attach encoder with the CN2 port by employing the encoder cable which is qualified to be fitted into the encoder. The HC-MFS73K servo motor may also link to the delegated servo amplifier by concatenating with a power supply cable with the servo motor.
