New Allen-Bradley 24Vdc Source Compact Digital DC Output Module 1769-IQ32
Description of Output Module 1769-OB32
The 1769-OB32 module is a compact solid-state output module that has been included in the 1769 Bulletin by Allen-Bradley. This module has been designed to operate in several applications while occupying less space than regular modules of the same type. This module comes with different options and parts that perform different functions.
Allen-Bradley 1769-OB32 CompactLogix 32-Point 24V DC Solid-state Source Output Module, Number of Outputs: 32; Voltage Category/Type, Output: 24V DC, sourcing; Voltage Range: 20.4-26.4V DC; Signal Delay (max.) – resistive load: turn-on = 0.1 ms, turn-off = 1.0 ms; Leakage Current, Off-State Output, Max.: 1.0 mA @ 26.4V AC; Current per Output, Max.: 0.5 A @ 60 °C (140 °F), 1.0 A @ 30 °C (86 °F); Current per Module, Max.: 8.0 A @ 60 °C (140 °F), 16.0 A @ 30 °C (86 °F); Backplane Current @ 5.1V: 300 mA.
Compact output module can be used as local and distributed output for a CompactLogix or MicroLogix 1500 controller. Each 1769-OB32 module includes a built-in removable terminal block with finger-safe cover for connections to I/O sensors and actuators. The 1769-OB32 module is a 1.5-slot wide module. The 1769OB32 module may not be more than 8 modules away from the power supply or controller.

The 1769 Compact I/O modules can be used in these applications:
1) With a 1769 CompactLogix controller
2) For expansion I/O in a MicroLogix 1500 controller assembly
3) In an assembly with a 1769-ADN DeviceNet adapter
4) In an assembly with a 1769-AENTR Ethernet adapter
Each 1769 Compact I/O module has a distance rating. In 1769 systems, the distance rating is the number of modules between the specific module and the 1769 power supply. In a 1768 system, the distance rating is the number of modules between the specific I/O module and the 1768 controller.
I/O Module Overview
Each I/O module includes a built-in removable terminal block with finger-safe cover for connections to I/O sensors and actuators. The terminal block is behind a door at the front of the module. I/O wiring can be routed from beneath the module to the I/O terminals.
