Overview
The Mitsubishi MDS-B-SVJ2-20 (MDSBSVJ220) is a MDS series servo drive with a power supply. This servo drive has a power supply with a voltage of 200-230VAC.The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive is permitted to augment its voltage, becoming 170-253VAC. Its frequency is permitted to waver between +5% and -5% of the original 50/60Hz.
This MDS series servo drive with a power supply may connect to other MDS-B-SVJ2 drives by connecting the CN1A to a CN1B port and vice versa. Only up to seven of these drives can connect together. That means there can only be seven axes. The CN1A port may also link with the NC (No Connection). All connections are made with the SH21 cable.
The MDS servo motors that are applicable to the MDS-B-SVJ2-20 are the: HC152, HC202, HC352, HC153, HC203, HC203R, HC-352, HA100N, HA200N, HA103N, HC-SF352, HC-SF353, and HC-RF203. With each of the motors, there is one standard way to connect each of them with very little variance. Every motor must link its encoder to the CN2 port with the MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive. This connection is consummated by an encoder cable. The cable used does vary on which motor is employed. The only two cables that can be utilized are the CNV2C or the CNV12. The MDS-B-SVJ2-20 servo drive also attaches to the applicable motors by a power supply cable. The cable may connect to the servo drive’s U, V, and W screw terminals while another wire is grounded. The cable necessary will be unique to the servo motor utilized.
