Description
The Allen-Bradley 1794-ACNR15 is a Flex I/O communication adapter. This adapter is a DIN rail mounted device, which features dual ControlNet port, used in implementation of Redundant ControlNet data highway, It supports up to Eight (8) Flex I/O modules. It supports ControlNet version 1.5.
The Allen-Bradley 1794-ACNR15 Redundant Media ControlNet Adapter has a 24 V DC Voltage, a 8 Modules I/O Capacity, and a 19.2-31.2V DC Input Voltage Range. It also operates with a 850V DC Isolation Voltage and a 23A for 2ms Inrush Current.
This version of the 1794-ACN15 and 1794-ACNR15 adapters changed how the adapter firmware is displayed in RSNetWorx for ControlNet (version 3.0 and earlier).
Previous versions of the adapters displayed an alpha for the firmware version. For example, C/F was displayed to indicate major firmware revision C (3), minor firmware revision F (6). This release displays the firmware revision numerically. For example, 4.1 is displayed to indicate major firmware revision 4, minor firmware revision 1.
Customers using RSNetWorx for ControlNet (revision 3.21 or later) will see all current and previous versions of the 1794-ACN15, 1794-ACNR15 adapter firmware displayed numerically. The series display remains unchanged; it is still displayed as Series C.
